How does Airvet work?

How do I download the app? 

Simply download the free Airvet app onto your phone from this link. We have both Android and iPhone versions of the app.

How does Airvet work? 

1. Download the app onto your phone from this link (or from the App/Play Store)
2. Create your account using your work email, and add your pet(s)
3. Select a visit type from the home screen (chat, on-demand video call, or appointment, if available in your membership) to connect with a veterinary professional in seconds!

How much does Airvet cost? 

Airvet membership is provided as a benefit by your employer, so there is no cost associated for you!

Where is Airvet available? 

Airvet is available in the United States and Canada (with the exception of Quebec). 

Can an Airvet vet prescribe medications?

While we would love to provide your pets with the medication they need, there are US state and Canadian provincial laws that currently prevent us from doing so. Since these laws vary by state and province, and our vets are located across the US, we are not legally able to prescribe medication over a telehealth visit at this time.

Even though our vets can’t legally prescribe medication through a virtual visit alone, they will always be able to triage, support, and provide expert guidance and advice for any pet questions or concerns you may have!

How can I update my existing pet’s information? 

1. Tap the "Pets" tab at the bottom of your app's home screen
2. Select the pet whose information you’d like to update
3. Tap “Save” at the bottom of the screen to save your changes
   
   

How do I remove a pet from my account? 

Open the app and log into your account. Once on the homepage, select the "Pets" tab located at the top of the screen, and tap and hold the pet's profile that you’d like to remove. A message will pop up asking if you're sure you'd like to remove their profile - tap "yes"/"delete" to proceed with the removal.
