What is the Pumpkin Wellness Club?

The Pumpkin Wellness Club is a comprehensive wellness plan that pays for preventative care services up to a set dollar amount per year for dogs and cats, and can save pet owners up to $560/year for dogs, and $470/year for cats on key vet care and more. Membership to the Pumpkin Wellness Club not only includes savings on vet services but also grants access to discounts from top pet brands.

The Pumpkin Wellness Club is not accident and illness insurance.

Is this insurance? / How is this different than insurance?

No, the Pumpkin Wellness Club is not insurance. The Pumpkin Wellness Club saves pet owners money on recommended vet care, specifically focused on preventative care and early detection of illnesses. Unlike traditional insurance, by paying for care that focuses on prevention and early detection, intervention for any issues that are found is often easier and treatment costs much less than taking a reactive approach and seeking care after a problem is already revealed – not to mention, early detection and prevention measures help to promote a healthier, longer life for your pet!

The Pumpkin Wellness Club can also be a good option for older pets, pets with existing conditions, or pets that otherwise don’t qualify for traditional insurance so that you can save money on the routine care they already receive!

How is this different from my Airvet benefit?

Airvet is not a wellness plan or insurance, but rather is a pet telehealth service, so your Airvet benefit provides you with access to unlimited virtual visits with veterinary professionals for any questions or concerns you may have about your pet, but it does not offer payment for any costs associated with your pet’s in-person care.

If you elect to join the Pumpkin Wellness Club through the Airvet app, you could get paid by Pumpkin for qualifying preventative and routine health services for your pet while also saving money from a variety of other discounts and exclusive offers for pet care, products, and services!

How much does it cost?

Through our partnership with Pumpkin, we’re able to offer the Pumpkin Wellness Club at an 18% discount – the deepest discount available on the market! The price breakdown per plan and species is as follows:

Dogs - Essential Plan = $196/yr
Dogs - Premium Plan = $442/yr
Cats - Essential Plan = $147/yr
Cats - Premium Plan = $344/yr

Is urinalysis covered by Pumpkin Wellness Club plans?

No, Pumpkin Wellness Club plans do not offer payment for urinalysis.

Can I join the Pumpkin Wellness Club if I already have Pumpkin insurance OR insurance through another provider?

Yes, the Pumpkin Wellness Club can be a great supplement to traditional pet insurance!

I don’t see the Pumpkin Wellness Club option in my app - how do I get it?

The Pumpkin Wellness Club is available to select members at this time, and is only available in the United States. If you don’t see it in your app, or if you have any additional questions, you can reach out to our team at support@airvet.com for additional information.

Do I have to pay for the Pumpkin Wellness Club or is it included in my Airvet benefit?

Membership to the Pumpkin Wellness Club is not included in your Airvet benefit, and joining the Club would be an out-of-pocket expense, should you choose to join it.

Which regions are supported?

At this time, the Pumpkin Wellness Club is available to pet parents who live in the United States.

Can I use this at any veterinary clinic?

The Pumpkin Wellness Club works with any licensed vet in the US or Canada (if the pet parent lives in the US).

How do I submit a claim?

Filing a claim is super easy, 100% digital, and requires zero paperwork. Simply follow the instructions below:

Log in to your account on https://member.pumpkin.care/login
From the homepage, you can click "File a Claim" under your pet's name.
There, follow the prompts to enter your claim details, upload a copy of your itemized vet bill, and submit.

Please note that if you have multiple invoices, they will need to be submitted as separate claims! The Pumpkin claims team will process your claim and update you once their review is complete. You can also track the status of your claim anytime via your account under “Claims”.

How many pets can I enroll?

Through Airvet, you can enroll 1 pet (either a dog or cat) in the Pumpkin Wellness Club membership.

Which species are supported?

Pumpkin Wellness Club plans cover dogs and cats of all breeds and health conditions.

How do I update my payment method?

If you’d like to update the payment method for your Pumpkin Wellness Club membership, you can do so anytime by tapping on the Pumpkin Wellness Club card on your profile or home screen in the Airvet app, then tapping on ‘Manage Membership’. From there you should be able to locate the payment method on file, and tap to edit it.
